EFQM Challenges 2022

Over the last 30 years, EFQM’s accreditation method has been strongly aligned to every aspect of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UNSDGs) and the ESG agenda. In addition to championing sustainability for numerous years, the EFQM Model incorporates the values of the UN Global Compact, the European Social Charter and the European Convention on Human Rights.

We have challenged organisations – large and small – not merely to improve their performance but to do this with a focus on improving the whole of society.

Over 50,000 organisations have followed the EFQM ethos from the UN itself to multinationals and charities.

Over 50,000 organisations have followed the EFQM ethos from the UN itself to multinationals and charities.

There is a high level of synergy between the EFQM Model and the UN’s 17 Sustainable Development Goals. We believe that all organisations, whether they be private, public or third sector, can benefit significantly from understanding their relationship with the UN SDGs and Targets, determining their impact on the SDGs and the impact SDGs have on their activities.

We are looking for a project or initiative that other organisations can learn from with a unique implementation that would benefit wider society.

EFQM have three challenges, each offering a different way of challenging your organisation:

  • The Circular Economy Challenge
  • The Diversity, Inclusion & Gender Equality (DIG) Challenge
  • The UN Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs) Challenge
